Terms of Service

The terms, in full.

Effective 14 September 2026. Reviewed by counsel. Where a signed school agreement says something different, the signed agreement governs for that school.

1. Who these terms are between

These Terms of Service are between MonsoonSafe School Private Limited (CIN: U46909BR2026PTC085434), registered office C/O Manoj Kumar Singh, Pan-Tarapur, Vill-Rajgur, Tarapur, Munger, Bihar 813221 (“MonsoonSafe,” “we,” “us”) and:

  • Visitors using monsoonsafe.com, including the public demo and the Founding School enquiry form (“the Site”), and
  • Schools that have signed a separate pilot or subscription agreement to use the MonsoonSafe product inside their institution (“the Product”).

Where a signed school agreement and these Terms conflict on any point, the signed agreement governs for that school.

2. What MonsoonSafe is

MonsoonSafe is a spaced-retrieval learning product for schools, initially distributed alongside school rainwear as an introduction, and sold from year two as a standalone school software subscription — there is no parent-facing subscription in this model. The public Site’s demo (Memory Missions, the sample chapter) is illustrative of how the product works; it is not the in-school Product itself and does not reflect any specific school’s real data.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or Product to collect, infer, or attempt to identify a specific child’s real-world identity beyond what the school itself has configured;
  • Attempt to access another school’s data, another student’s data outside your own school, or any account that isn’t yours;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or use automated means to extract content or data from the Site or Product beyond ordinary use;
  • Use the Site or Product for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could disable, overburden, or impair it.

4. No diagnosis, no clinical claims

MonsoonSafe reports what happened to a student’s answer — a faded concept, a specific misconception, a missing earlier step — and nothing more. Nothing in the Product or Site states or implies a diagnosis of ADHD, dyslexia, or any psychological, learning, or medical condition. Any output referencing “attention,” “confidence,” or similar language describes observed answer patterns on tracked concepts only. Schools and teachers should not treat Product output as a clinical or diagnostic tool, and MonsoonSafe accepts no liability for any decision made on that basis.

5. Accounts (teachers and administrators)

Teacher and administrator accounts are provisioned by the school, not self-registered. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Intellectual property

The Site, the Product, and all content within them (including question content, misconception-repair text, the retrieval-scheduling logic, and the MonsoonSafe name and marks) are owned by MonsoonSafe School Private Limited or its licensors. A school’s subscription grants a licence to use the Product for its own students during the subscription term — it does not transfer ownership of anything, and does not grant a licence to any other school or third party.

Content authored for the Product is written fresh against public syllabus topic lists (CBSE, ICSE, and relevant state boards) — never copied from any publisher’s textbook — and MonsoonSafe represents that it has the right to use content it creates or licenses for the Product.

7. Fees and payment

Fees, billing terms, and any rainwear-bundling arrangement are set out in the signed school agreement, not in these general Terms. These Terms cover use of the Site and Product; they are not themselves a commercial agreement or invoice.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and Product are provided “as is.” During the current pilot and early-access phase in particular, features, content coverage, and availability may change as the product develops. We do not guarantee that the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we will act promptly on reported issues affecting a school’s use.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MonsoonSafe School Private Limited’s liability arising from use of the Site or Product is limited to the fees actually paid by the affected school in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including in respect of children’s data handled negligently or in breach of the Data Processing Agreement.

10. Termination

A school may stop using the Product per the terms of its signed agreement; we honour data export and deletion as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement. We may suspend access that violates Section 3 (Acceptable use) after reasonable notice, except where immediate suspension is necessary to protect student data or system security.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munger, Bihar — the district of MonsoonSafe School Private Limited’s registered office.

13. Changes to these Terms

We’ll update the effective date above and note material changes here when anything changes, and will give schools reasonable notice before any change affecting their signed agreement.
